factoring everything that went down this year i think when we consider resigning certain guys it should be performance based and not talent based. thats why imo we should prioritise resigning lonnie walker, austin reaves and rui hachimura. no hesitation, pay the guys. i would consider letting d’angelo russell walk and use the 30m that we would have payed him to pay the young guys instead.

i think at times at times we look small and the denver nuggets took full advantage of our lack of size particularly nicola jokic. imo he exposed AD in this series and has shown that AD is a power foward playing at center imo we have to move him back to his natural position and bring in a center, the best center available is brook lopez i think a sign a trade for him would be ideal it would only cost us 8m in salary, for me thats just too good of an opportunity not to pass up plus the idea of having ad and lopez together is so scary on both ends of the court i wanna bring back that 2020 style of basketball that worked so well for us.

also i think one area where we looked weak is our perimeter defence i thought dlo was getting fried by jamal murray. we need an extra body to put on guys like curry, murray, dame, kyrie etc i think vando is a great defender but at the end of the day he is a wing plus at times he was unplayable so i think we should probably take this chance to trade pick 17 and max (who likely wont get playing time) for alex caruso who is a first team all defence caliber guard and on top of that he can run the point too so all around thats a solid pick up.

imo if we had lopez and caruso we’d still be playing right now, not to over react to one series but if feel like all our weaknesses got exposed and we have to address them head on. plus im not a fan of the style of basketball we are playing i want to go back to that 2020 style that was so affective
