Brown is a solid creator and perimeter defender so would fit perfectly into this Lakers rotation. I understand that he hasn’t played much yet this season but when he has played he’s been solid.

The deal is actually low risk for the Lakers, with Brown on an expiring contract and could be resigned for less, and the Raptors take on the contracts of Vincent and Vanderbilt (who actually still has good upside when healthy).

You could adjust this deal to add Poetl and move Hachimura too.
