Why LA Does this Trade: Considering the reports of LA "most likely them going 'Half-measure and avoiding using their first with likely seconds," Creativity and the help of 3 other Teams helps the value associate with all teams. LA fills the need of perimeter defense in two areas. Bruce Brown and Davion Mitchell. The First need is a starting Two-Way wing who is athletic that can play in front of Max Christie as a more reliable veteran option at the guard spot which in this case is Brown. Brown can play 1-3 and succeeds in the playoff atmosphere hence why Brown would be better over Christie in the playoffs can guard guards and forwards well. Brown also helps with rebounding a bit. Mitchell is Here to fill the Second need an athletic defending playmaking guard who is an upgrade over Gabe for his playmaking abilities and POA abilities. Mitchell is a younger option at the guard spot who can start at times but primarily lead the bench with his playmaking over Brown as a real point Guard for the Lakers. The final and third need is Backup Center. Drew Eubanks is a better realistic option as a shot blocker, quick defending big man at 245lbs with a 7ft wingspan than Jonas Valanciunas who is slow nonathletic and isn't as good as a rim protector than Eubanks.

Why TOR Does this Trade. Getting Value for Brown and Mitchell doesn't rely solely on draft picks although one second here accounts for either Brown or Mitchell especially Brown who may not get moved and trade value is at an all-time low due to recently getting back from an injury hiatus. Getting a Player of interest in Rui Hachimura who fits the future and age of this Group in Toronto fills a need of 3-pt shooting and bench scoring. Bagley is in this deal as an Expiring but could prove useful and brought back as he is no scrub as a good rebounder, defender, shot blocker, and bench scorer as Rui especially when played decent PT.

Why UTA Does this Trade: Quite simple for Utah. Getting two young guys. One in particular reported interest: JHS. For a decent center.

Why WAS Does this Trade: Getting a second for taking on an extra 7 million overall but also saving cap this year in the process as well as gaining a second-round pick for taking on some cap.
