Same trade everyone has going around which is: James Harden to the 76ers for Ben Simmons, Danny Green and a FRP.

Lakers also make a big move and send Russ to the Clippers for Serge Ibaka (expiring contract), Marcus Morris, & RoCo (expiring contract).

Lakers get off of Russ’ contract & he agrees to the trade because he stays in LA. They get 3&D guys that maybe help them make a run this year but also some expiring contracts.

Clippers do this because they need someone to initiate offense. They don’t need Morris with the addition of Powell.

Only reason this ruffles some feathers is that I don’t see Reggie Jackson wanting to move to the bench.
