LeBron signs to a 1-year, $25 million discount deal.

Gary Trent Jr. signs to a 2 year, $12million deal to be the Kennard replacement.

Rui signs to a 3-year, $60 million deal.

The Lakers biggest weaknesses this season were defense and athleticism. They can answer that in this sign and trade with the Mavericks. The Mavs get a potential long term pg to pair with Cooper Flagg for the future. Reaves playmaking with Flagg would be awesome. The lakers also give up Dalton just for some extra young talent. The Mavs also don’t really need PJ and Marshall because they aren’t the best fit next to Flagg, so the Mavs trading them would be realistic. Reaves would resign with them for about a 3 year 140 million contract

The Lakers get 3 quality role players that Luka is already familiar with, and all of them can defend and hustle.

The Lakers basically send salary filler for Herb Jones along with 2 first-round picks. At this point Herb’s value has kinda gone down because of the sucky season he had. But pairing him with Luka and LeBron, where he’ll get open shots could definitely help him get back to the old Herb Jones out in La.

I also think this trade could be realistic because the Pelicans don’t have a first-round pick this year. If the Lakers send them their first, they can add some young talent in one of the deepest/best draft classes in a while, which could benefit them.
