Move Smart to the starting lineup and Rui to the 6th man, Lakers need a defensive menace in the lineup and Rui is not that guy. Also add 2 3&Ds to the team in KCP & Ellis, who will help a lot coming off the bench.

KCP is playing bad this couple of years but i think in the Lakers could turn his level again to what we saw in denver, in Orlando and Memphis he does not have the open looks and good shoots he had in 2019-20 & 2020-21 LAL and in 2023-24 Denver. So i think Mem will accept this offer to get out of his contract and receive 2 expirings and a FRP SWAP.

Ellis last game was a DNP. Save this guy from Sacramento. He has the potential to be a KCP.
