Lakers then move that 45th pick, and move Knecht and Kleber to the Hornets for the 33rd and 34th picks this year and a lightly protected first from Dallas in 2027 while getting back Green. This gives the Lakers two early seconds to target a center (Kalkbrenner) and perhaps a wing (Thiero) or a 4/5 (Flemming).
