For a trade like this to be somewhat realistic the Lakers would have to put all their trade assets on the table. Imo they don't have enough to go after a Herbert Jones or, even less, his teammate Trey Murphy III.
So why not try the Bulls. After this season they'll have to pay Ayo and with the track record they have I'm not convinced they'll be willing to give him what he is going to ask. I think they could see this as a good outcome since, besides the draft capital, they would be getting a young player who can hopfully flourish with them in K4 and another defender in Vando after loosing Ayo.
For the Nets it's more simple, you get out of the Terrance Mann contract and avoid having to deal with Highsmiths FA. Sure, you loose Sharpe but you still got Claxton and hopefully you already have your future big in Danny Wolf. A future 1st and 2nd for a neutral to negative cotract, an expiring and a backup big doesn't sound bad to me.
FYI I'm not sure the Lakers can move everything I sugest here, I know Fanspo's trade machine isn't that reliable. Also next summer the Lakers would potentially have to pay AR, Rui, Dosunmu AND Higsmith so I don't know if it is the smartest move anyways. But damn it give Luka and AR a competent team and watch them cook!
