LAKERS get a real rim-protector, anchor, atletic and lob-threat big in Claxton, the center they need more than Ayton, but keep Ayton to do a rotation similar to what Dallas build with Gafford&Lively, who shared minutes playing 24 min a game each. Also add a couple of 3&Ds in Cam Johnson (is and improved version of Rui in defense) and Highsmith (pretty underrated 3&D, hasnt played yet this season due a knee injury so his value is at his lowest). Both Cam & Highsmith will be healthy in the deadline.

Next summer if they dont do a move like this they will lose him, because the extensions of Braun & Gordon will hit the salary cap and they need to liberate salary to resign him. Rui can be a very usefull 6th man in this team and will fit very good offensively, he is similar to what Cam Johnson give u in offense but is a worse defender.
