Let's be real. The Lakers aren't winning another ring with LeBron. It's an unfortunate reality. LeBron is only used to get butts in seats. He still plays at a high level, yes, but he is WAY too expensive for a man who is 39. If the Lakers want to be contenders with the dwindling good years of Anthony Davis, they need to put a younger team around him.

I think you won't even need to let LeBron walk. I think he walks away by himself. I really really hope for Laker fans sake that he doesn't stay and convinces the front office to draft Bronny second round. There are plenty of better options that can help your team in that spot than Bronny, I promise you.

Hopefully these moves make sense and are fair to everyone. I think unloading your bigger contracts and signing guys who are worth the price tag and providing the squad with some fresh faces could help LA. Pascal Siakam and OG are two guys who have had some recent playoff success, and bringing that culture to LA will only help you.

In the draft, the Lakers will more than likely have two picks, one being at 17 via New Orleans and one being at 56. If LeBron leaves and Bronny doesn't get draft second round, here's who I think is getting drafted in his place:

Round 1, 17 Overall: Stephon Castle- I think Stephon Castle will fall in the draft a little due to his woeful shooting. However, his defensive and playmaking upside is through the roof which gives him star potential. A jumpshot can only be developed, and the Lakers would be dumb not to pass up on Castle if he's available. Can run the starting PG spot day one.

Round 2, 56 Overall: Mantas Rubstavicius- Mantas could provide some excellent shooting off the bench for LA. Was 42% from deep this year. High energy guy who can also be aggressive on the drive. Would make more sense positionally and need-wise than Bronny here.
