Before Lakers fans say this is overpay, understand Jazz fans are saying there’s no way they would do this trade. But my reasoning for this trade is i truly believe Sexton is just as good as DLo but he provides a different style of play. I think the lakers problem is right now they don’t have nothing but one style they can effectively play n that’s crafty high difficulty shot making. AR, Dlo, and even Bron all score in similar ways (Bron still can be Bron at time but not a full season) n all have the same issues that defense is not their strength. I’m not saying sexton is a defensive stopper but he has the right tools to be above average on that end of the ball. And he definitely plays with athleticism and aggression compared to Dlo. He’s not the “superstar” but he for sure the best player and fit out of all the names mentioned by jovan buha WHO DOES NOT KNOW WAT REALLY GOING ON! He said last year Rue was the starter when lakers had Vando n Prince before him. I’m not going try sell lakers fan on Kessler because pretty much everyone already wants him.
