First of all, Brooklym seems to not want to keep and resign Cam Thomas, and its known they are selling his players for FRPs to rebuild, so i think this trade could interest them, they get expiring Dlo (to add to expiring Ben Simmons & Schroder & Bogdanovic, so they can liberate around 80M-90M in cap space next summer, perfect for the reconstruction and to find or go for a star in the future) who is a good PG for them to pass the year, also add Vando who is and elite defender but he has no offensive game more than get offensive rebounds and finish near the rim + 2 FRP for Cam Thomas and Cam Johnson.

So the Lakers will be improving a lot in this trade, they are getting another 3&D wing to the team in Johnson , they bet for a scorer in the backcourt who can resign later if they see a good fit in Thomas + the needed backup center in Richards.
