With Grimes most likely on the move this off-season, reports coming out about the sixers wanting to trade Drummond to shed salary, and Oubre also being on an expiring, getting two seconds in the process wouldn't be horrible. That's even tho these players would be able to make contributions on the sixers play-off run in a weakened east.
People are very down on all the players the Lakers are sending out here, but if you squint Kleber could do some of the things Drummond does (including shooting) and Ayton could also be a solid big who could play big minutes for Embiid. I really like the fit of these players on the Lakers, but they can't give up too much more since all of these guys could be on the move this summer.
The Nets are involved for salary reasons, but with reports Knecht could a candidate for a "fresh start", could the nets be up for it? A second for a 1RP last night that's shown real flashes could be interesting for a team with cap space that won't really have to give anything up.
Thoughts?
