Orlando gets an outside shot, a starting five that would be among the best in the NBA, and a lot of bench depth.
In my opinion, the Lakers benefit the least, although they also solve several of their problems. They gain perimeter defense with Suggs, size with WCJ and Capela, but they still don't have a good defensive power forward.
Portland is in a position to make the trade possible, but considers the sale also greatly benefited simply by not re-signing Anfernee Simons. With Anferneeout, Scoot Henderson and Shaedon Sharpe, who are going to be more of a future for the franchise than Anfernee, could get more playing time.
The Orlando Magic are left out of the second apron, which is very positive, and Portland doesn't enter the first apron.
I've only included two second-round picks as compensation for Portland receiving those salaries, but I'm open to feedback if you think the trade isn't balanced and rounds could be added to either team.
