WHY ROCKETS DO IT:

Reggie and THJ are way more tradable contracts, if they let them put numbers I'm pretty sure many teams would be interested sooner or later.

Josh is a former first rounder, he never got a chance so maybe he has talent who knows.

WHY MAVS DO IT:

I loved THJ under Rick, but now he's a fish out of the water. Reggie is also not integrated, so we replace him with an expiring contract and can see if we have to resign him or not.

Now, why Wall? Because we need A-S-A-P a secondary creator and somebody who can create his own shot or drive to the rim. Wall can do these things. He's also very motivated, he could be a steal.

Starting 5: Luka, Jalen, DFS, KP, Dwight

Second Unit: Wall, Ntili, House, Maxi, WCS

Third Unit: SPOT OPEN, Sterling, Roby, Moses, Boban

As you can see, we don't need to start Wall, we could use him as a 6th not more than 20 minutes per game.

Closing line up: Jalen, Wall, Luka, DFS, KP. 3 players who can create their own shot. It would be a nightmare for any opponent if you think how difficult it is to stop Luka alone.

Financially, we would pay A LOT of luxury next year, but then Wall expires and can decide to re-sign him at better money or letting him go.
