I will be doing ba short and sweet analysis for every prospect taken in the first round I probably won't do this for the second round and will do the non lottery picks tomorrow because I don't have as much information on them so I need to do research
Mavericks Cooper Flagg I think this was the easiest pick and a good one he won't be a generational guy like LeBron but still a great player Grade A+
Spurs Dylan Harper I think this is ultimately once again the right pick and he will be nearly as good of not as good as Flagg if give the chance Grade A+
76ers VJ Edcecombe I like him as a prospect and potentially as an elite NBA player but even with all the pre draft issues with Bailey I still think he's the best available Grade A-
Hornets Kon Knupple this was shocking I thought they'd trade back to 6 and draft Khaman not take Kon over guys like Ace or Tre this was definitely a reach in my opinion Grade B
Jazz Ace Bailey I was surprised he was even available but yet I feel Tre Johnson would've been a bit better fit and filled they're need better Grade A
Wizards Tre Johnson I feel this is great value he was my 4th top prospect in the class so I'm happy with them getting him at 6 would've preferred Ace but this was still a great pick and should fit well into their roster Grade A+
Pelicans Jeremiah Fears I always thought this would be the player the pelicans would draft and I think it's the right one A-
Note I'm only giving out A+ to high value picks or elite players or players who are a perfect fit for here on out
8 Nets Egor Demin this was one of the biggest reaches I've seen and I personally think Egor isn't even a lottery talent so I'm not a fan of him going in the lottery let alone top 10 Grade C
Raptors Collin Murray Boyles he was my 6th top guy in the draft but figured he'd fall due to fit purposes but he's good value at 9 and I think he'll be a great player in the league Grade A
Suns Khaman Maluach I'm not a fan of Maluach I always thought he'd go around this pick or at 6 if the hornets traded back but I feel he'll just be a good center and not a star Grade B-
Grizzlies Cedric Coward I like the pick for Memphis but I think he would have still been available at 16 I like the pick and fit just not the value amd the fact they traded up Grade C+
Bulls Noa Essunge I feel like he was a bit over hyped in terms of his ceiling and versatility but do feel he'll be a good NBA player but not as good as some think Grade B
Pelicans Derik Queen I love this pick for new Orleans trading up to draft a top 3 center to pair with Messi I think he is a good value pick and was worth trading up for Grade A-
Spurs Carter Bryant I love this pick for San Antonio i kinda wish they traded this pick but Bryant is one of my favorite prospects and think he's a great value and pick at 14 Grade A
