I haven't talked about this too much, but my role in the pro-sports industry has really been on the up. For that reason, I haven't had much time or energy to be posting my extraneous NBA draft opinions in full mock draft form. But I still wanted to get in on the fun, so.... with some days left, here are some takes that I wanna stand by for this draft class. Some are hot, some are not. You be the judge. As usual, don't act all crazy in the mentions. Let's goooooooooo.
Kel'el Ware is one of the best prospects in this class, and will be drafted by the Grizzlies at 9 or the Jazz at 10
Ryan Dunn is an instant All-NBA defense caliber prospect, who could be a star with even the slightest offensive game
Don't overthink it: Reed Sheppard is That Dude
AJ Johnson could be a star!
Hansen Yang is a first round talent
Stephon Castle is closer to Dyson Daniels than anything else (no hate)
Tyler Smith is a future all-star?
The Hornets can complete a 2nd Round Playoffs level roster if they nail this draft
Clingan deserves to be taken number one overall- is a brilliant player. I didn't think so at first, but over time he got to me
Risacher, despite everything, will turn out fine
I don't see it with Ja'Kobe Walter, Yves Missi, Bobi Klintman, Ajay Mitchell, or Jonathan Mogbo.
Nikola Topic isn't the best Nikola in this class....... Djurisic believers rise up!
Sarr will surpass Evan Mobley, maybe even quickly
And, lastly.... this draft class has actual value!!!! I said it!!!
