I know, CJ was the veteran guy in this group. Losing him may affect the locker room atmosphere a lot, especially when the Pelicans just went through a huge development year last year. But if they can avoid those issues, this team should have a good chance to chase its first title.

And as a Raptors fan, I do not hope to get KD. Because we just won the championship few years ago. I will feel better & sweeter to go through the development & struggles with our current group, instead of building a superstar-driven team to chase another title. I know title is great, it is the ultimate goal for every team. But after just winning it in 2019, I personally prefer to witness and go through a development journey with our current group, even if we may not get another title.
