There have been rumours of the Spurs having interest in Ingram. Having signed Chris Paul, they should be making moves to contend now with Wemby at the helm. Ingram is a win now piece that immediately elevates this team to playoff caliber. His price tag is relatively low right now so the Spurs can pounce. The guys they lose aren't integral to their rotation moving forward.
The Pelicans get Walker Kessler, who they have been heavily linked to at the center position. Ingram is almost 100% out the door, and this move gives them depth to build around DJ and Zion. Collins is a handy backup as someone can shoot, with Theis and Missi offering different looks at Center so they have lots of options and depth. Collins can also play as a PF which will be a handy backup for Zion. They recoup a couple second round picks as well.
The Jazz have been listening to offers for Kessler. They reportedly want at least one FRP. They also get Keldon Johnson, who is a solid guy to have.
