Why Hornets do this: LaMelo just signed an extension but the Hornets still have a long way to go to make it far in the playoffs and you know LaMelo wants to win. They get Quickley in return who needs a change of scenery and gets a fresh start as a starter in Charlotte. R.J. Barrett is a also a great player and would pair great along side Miles Bridges. They also get Simone Fontecchio and a boat load of picks to ignite their future.

Why Raptors do this: Why not? They have the recent rookie of the year they just got Brandon Ingram and still have a solid center in Jakob Poeltl. LaMelo is an all-star and an all-nba caliber player. The Raptors have struggled in past years but are very close to becoming a playoff team.

Why jazz do this: They get Grant Williams in exchange for cash. Williams is a solid player and can do a lot on the court. He can also mentor many of the young talent on Utah.

Why Pistons do this: The Pistons get an upgrade over Fontecchio and get a better defensive player in Josh Green who can put up solid numbers. The Pistons are making a deep playoff push making this a great addition.
