Trades
VanVleet and Svi for Lonzo Ball, 2022 FRP (18th pick)
The Raptors get a guy with more length and size and defence which fits their MO and is a more willing playmaker which the Raptors need. The Bulls get an all star player in VanVleet. The Bulls would all of a sudden have 3 all stars on the same team which makes them even better. Fred is also from that area which would help in keeping him long-term.
Trent Jr and 2024 FRP for Dillon Brooks (Extend 4/80)
The Raptors continue their hunt for defensive upgrades. They get it here. While it hurts to trade Trent and a first, Brooks is a great player. He can still score but also a great defender. The Grizzlies replace Brooks and get a guy who is a much better shooter. Shooting is key to have on a team built around Ja Morant. They also get a first.
