Raptors: after trading OG Toronto will need to make the final move by trading Siakam probably around the deadline. This trade officially starts the process to build around Barnes. In this deal the raptors get a solid player in Hield who can help with Toronto and their bad 3 point shooting just like Quickley has done. This keeps Toronto somewhat competitive going forward. The raptors also get some youth in their squad by gaining Jalen Smith who can help fill out the backup centre spot they are missing. He hasn’t really gotten much of an opportunity on the pacers so he could shine in a new role for Toronto. Lastly adding more youth the raptors get Walker who can develop into a defensive power house and get two FRP for 2024 and 2025.

Pacers: Indiana have shown they are a competitive team with the best Offence in the league. The only other thing they are missing is another star and Siakam fits that perfectly. Able to mix well with Halliburton’s playmaking he can put pressure on the rim while the rest of the team gets hot behind the arc.
