Raps have to move off of PS and have to stay flexible in cap to offer OG a significant contract. Raptors don’t have their pick this year, so they still want to play good basketball. In order to do that the raptors need much more shooting to surround Jakob and Scottie. With this trade they’d have that shooting and some interesting pieces who maybe just needed a change of scenery.

The warriors need to compete while you still have Steph. The Steph, Chris Paul, Klay team hasn’t been performing for they hoped. In this scenario they reunite Porter with his most winning team, add shooting in Boucher and Gary, get Siakam who will work incredibly with spacing, and return to the playoffs to compete in the packed west.

And if it doesn’t work out, lots of expiring contracts on either side and warriors keep their pick.
