Nets fans won't like this and feel Cameron and Day'Ron are worth more than salary filler and a 1st and they may be right. I'd say both Nets players have an injury history. Raps need a backup center and they need a starting PF so this trade works.
Day'Ron is out for 5 weeks maybe more otherwise he'd command another 1st or highly protected 1st. Cameron has an injury history and his stats aren't great, but I hear really good things about his defence and shooting, which Raps need.
The Nets do this because they want to tank and haven't gotten a better offer for Cameron. Day'Ron is injured and in a contract year, so get some value for him.
