The Rockets move on from Green. The backcourt is now very small, but there are playmakers. Back-up Bigs have an upside. This gives playing time for Amen Thompson and Cam Whitmore. They also receive the FRP from Nets, which is currently a pick swap.

The Mavericks receive outside shooting (Holiday is having a career year), a defender/scorer (Tate), an experienced big (Green-having an excellent year, NBA Finals experience), and Luka’s friend (Boban). They also receive 3 SRP. The Mavericks need a wing similar to Tate and more outside shooting. While Lively has played well in spurts, he does not have Green's experience nor his physicality (Green would help much more down the stretch and in the playoffs).

The Cavaliers receive 3 FRP, 2 SRP, and the former #2 pick in the draft is still only 21 years old and has tremendous upside (Green) and a mobile big (Landale). The Cavaliers interest in this trade is based on reports that management wants to move Mitchell.

The Nets receive scorer needed to push for playoffs (Haraway) and an expiring contract (who could potentially help down the stretch and playoffs-Oladipo). They also receive 4 SRP. The Nets have available player exceptions, making them a better team and giving them future draft capital and roster space. Clowney is currently not a contributor and is in the D League.
