Trade Season is back in full swing and for the third year in a row Eric Gordon is once again on the trade block for the Rockets. The Rockets intention is currently to get a young player or a FRP for Gordon. However, given their already cramped rotation I don't see how it's realistic for them to bring in another young player that needs minutes. With this in mind I believe a more attractive option is to begin Free Agency recruiting early and acquire Kyle Kuzma, by trading for Kuzma, they can resign him to the deal he wants with the league leading cap space and still have room to bring in another star to compete for the playoffs next season.

From the Wizards perspective, Kuzma is likely to leave in the offseason so it's in their best interest to get a deal done. They bring in a nice young player for their core as well as 2 FRP in a loaded class to continue their rebuild and start the tank.

FInally, from the Grizzlies perspective they go all in since they are currently leading the Western COnfrence and trade a young player not getting many minutes as well as Danny Green who is out for the Season with an ACL tear along with a FRP and acquire Eric Gordon an excellent 6th man who can also play starter minutes to push them over the edge and bring them farther into the playoffs.
