Johni Broome, it was a pleasure having you with us… those few moments, those few plays, and those unforgettable memories will always stay with us (or at least in the Summer League highlights).

Because in Summer League, you and Labarn Phlion looked like Shaq and Kobe. We really thought we had found the next legendary duo, the future of the NBA… then we remembered it was Summer League.

For a brief moment, you made us dream. Now you’re off to the Clippers, and we wish you the best. Keep working, keep fighting, and maybe one day people will say: “Remember when Broome and Phlion looked like Shaq and Kobe?”

Probably not, but it was fun while it lasted.
