Why would the Spurs:

1. Get over the hump while they still have cheap contracts

2. Get off Fox deal, for a championship guard that won’t mind coming off the bench

3. NEVER lose a big lead again as KD is the ultimate get a bucket guy

4. Capitalize on Victor‘s health, this roster + the rookies will allow them to keep Wemby’s mins low

5. Spurs culture is Great enough that KD won’t mess up the chemistry

Why would the Rockets:

1. Ensures Thompson never has to worry about play making again now you have 3 ball handlers on the team

2. Hometown hero, Fox is from Houston and has his house there, will most likely give you a team friendly deal in the future to stay

3. Get younger Fox and even Barnes can absorb all those KD minutes

4. No KD headache

5. Championship foundation. Fox/Amen/Sengun all in their 20s now they can go out the next few years and build role players around that

Why would the Blazers:

1. Too many guards

2. Get younger. Have all of your core players except Lillard on the same timeline.

3. A lot of egos to manage on this team the six man of the year will not add to that.

4. save’s money, which the new owner is apparently cheap so he’ll like that

5. Add another pic for this youngish roster.

Why would KD? (because let’s be real superstars can veto trades):

1. Yes, you’ll be made fun of for going to another championship roster.

2. Add another championship to your legacy.

3. His only job would be to score, not to playmake or guard the best player

4. He can rest during the season, Spurs have so many young bodies that can use the extra minutes
