As a Spurs homer I am a little concerned that when they take Harper, their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th best players will all be guards 6'5" or under. This trade lets them add forward with great positional size and add a little depth while maintaining future assets.

Fox/Castle/Murphy/Barnes/Wemby with Sochan, Johnson, Champagnie, and the 7th pick coming of the bench, plus whoever they can add with the nontaxpayer midlevel.
