There have been a lot of rumors floating around about Lauri to the spurs, and I think this trade benefits everyone. (Also, the spurs would send the unprotected 2031 twolves pick to the jazz, but it wasn't on the website yet)
Spurs: Spurs get Lauri and give up a pretty big haul, but that's gonna be what it takes to get him. They'd still have plenty of draft capital in case they need to add another piece down the road. Totally worth the risk to add a win now piece alongside Wemby, and build the team for the future. They also leave next year's ATL pick slightly protected in case it ends up being cooper flagg or ace bailey.
Jazz: Jazz seem hesitant to trade lauri, but I think this trade does it for them. A ton of draft capital, two former top six picks that could thrive in a new environment (just like lauri did for the jazz), a young back up point guard for keyonte george, and a salary dump for John Collins. This team isn't gonna win anything with lauri, and with one year left on his contract they need to get as much back as possible. They also throw in John Collins as a salary dump.
Hawks: Hawks give up two guys who have been underwhelming prospects for them, and in return they get back their draft capital. It's hard to see the direction that this team is going, but after giving up dejounte for draft picks, you'd have to imagine how badly they will want their own draft picks back. This trade gives them the autonomy to rebuild while keeping their core guys (jalen johnson, risacher, and trae)
