After this mock trade:

The Wizards will get the 6man of the year. He can come from the bench and drive to the basket with energy and efficiency.

The Spurs will get Bilal who used to be Wemby's teammate. His defence will match with this team so well. BTW, they will get Champagnie twins together. Family is bigger than basketball once again.

IMO,

1) KJ is still an elite player in the regular season. That's his first time in the playoffs. Maybe the Wizards will give him more credit.

He will be the big push for them to the play-in.

2) KJ's expiring contract is bigger than Bilal's. It will give the Wizards more salary flexible to AD's extension if it is necessary.

And the Spurs will get better defender and over the cap but non tax.

I think it's also a kind of win-win.
