---Bucks are gearing up to trade Giannis & want all good players off their team. Porter Jr... gotta go to the Rockets where they'll probably ship you out for someone else. Milwaukee trade two of their 1sts for a top-5 pick, and IF they land Boozer, Dybantsa, or Darryn Peterson, they look brilliant.
---Hawks, plan to retrade Barnes, get 2 firsts, replace Okongwu with Duren / Porzingis, who alongside Trae Young, DD, NAW, JJ... I expect to be a top3 team in the East next year. Don't be surprised when Boston also up there. Magic might be the other, with Knicks & Pistons right behind.
---Spurs get Okongwu, Bobby Portis, Ausar Thompson, & Quentin Grimes. Just, overloading on utility pieces to fill in the gaps between Fox & Wemby & Harp & Castle. They'd be stacked. Thunder, TWolves, Houston... we'd have trouble.
Pistons... don't wreck the good thing they have going, but pretend that I broke them off a piece of the cake I baked for San Antonio, I just wanted to reallyy spoil the Spurs first so you all see & agree why something like this, or very close to it, would be worth it... could mean championships for Wemby sooner than anyone expected. Then imagine they win a ring this year with this team, then they trade Okongwu, Grimes, Thompson, Tari for Ant + picks some1 else chips in. Spurs remaining starting 5: Fox, Ant, Harp, Bobby Portis, Wemby- which would WRECK all til Mavs miraculously draft fucking Boozer, Dybantsa AND Darryn Peterson next year & start 3 rookies & a Rookie of the Year from the previous year alongside AD... with Cooper Flagg running point. I think it might take a year tho before they catch up with Ant/Wemby's squad. We might look back someday and say... that [Dallas team] would ACTUALLY be a Hall-of-Fame team, and we could literally see it coming. Like TMac, Kobe, Vince, KG, AI, Shaq... Ewing, Jordan, Len Bias, Hakeem, Barkley... or Lebron, Carmelo, KD, Chris Paul, Bosh, Tim Duncan, DWade.... Tatum, Ant, Joker, Giannis, Luka, Shai, I don't think we appreciate enough how the best players of today ARE the best players of All-Time, until they're no longer playing. I think it's sad we don't truly give players like Tatum or Ant their flowers because "the narrAtive," and I don't think we appreciate enough that a player like KG, or Darryn Peterson, Kobe- can be ready.
Imagine how different the narrative would be on Tatum,
if he had skipped college while Jaylen took an extra year, & we won his first year with Isaiah, then won with Gordon Hayward (who never got hurt) & Kyrie, Jaylen Brown, Al Horford, Terry Rozier... as a key piece. Then won on his own with Jaylen & co. Then teams up with Wemby & wins 4 more, for 7 total.
He'd go down in history, as the best winner, next to Carmelo, Jordan, Duncan, Bill Russell, Bigshot Rob, because Carmelo [would have] won not only on the Knicks, with Amare & JR, JKidd, Shump, Tyson Chandler, 'Sheed, Camby, Quentin Richardson...
but Carmelo would have also won on the Denver Nuggets with AI, JR Smith, Nene, Melo, Kenyon Martin, Marcus Camby again, & Rasheed Wallace again...
as well as the 2017-2018 OKC Thunder team with Russell Westbrook, Gilbert Arenas (on a vet min.), Anthony, Paul George, Jerami Grant, Steven Adams...
plus he would have collected his first ring his rookie season with the Pistons, when he was selected 2nd overall by Detroit & goes on to win twice in his first 4 seasons before being traded to the Nuggets, where he immediately won... until the Celtics formed a superteam with KG, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce (with Rondo).
but anyways, Carmelo would be known for winning on the Knicks, where he'd be a legend forever, oh & the Heat, where he was traded for DWade, and was grateful for the opportunity to play alongside Lebron & Bosh, where he won, picked up a lottt of fans for his late-game 3pt heroics, like the shot that instead went to Ray Allen. And then there was Carmelo's run with the Thunder, where he also won a ring, and is remembered for his Western Conf Finals MVP performance, before Russell Westbrook won Finals MVP, since the Warriors never got KD, Klay and Draymond and Iggy never teamed up with Steph, there was no chemistry there, so they weren't as much of a problem. So Melo ends up a 7x NBA Champion, tied with Tatum... This is why, despite the real MVP unquestionably being KD, or Joker, the real [fake] MVP might just be the GM, - the invisible hand at play, because that's who truly swings everything in a general direction at least. I'm WWW. Kid Iv3r$0n. Dr. Dre- Aaliyah, Roddy Ricch. I told KG to jump straight to the league... When you're that good, when you're that dedicated, and ready, it's a travesty to hold a Kobe back and make him waste his life somewhere he isn't supposed to be.
