I doubt this trade would happen, just doesn't seem like Pop likes to trade his guys mid season - I'm just curious where everyone thinks the value here is?

I feel like perhaps the Heat don't get enough back for DRob, I just feel like the heat need to make a move. Trading for Green gives him fresh start away from Philly (I think a lot of Philly fans aren't super high on Green) and I really believe in the right circumstance he can still be a high level playoff roleplayer. They also get to add Young who has proven he can be a great roleplayer at a position of need. They lose team control but open up a clear timeline for Herro to be a starter.

Curious what Philly fan's think, I'd probably prefer Fox. Doug is an absolute sniper and makes so much sense for you guys. White is entering his prime as a great 2 way guard that can run the offense. Lonnie has been having a really good year coming off the bench, as a Spurs fan it hurts to trade him - he's looking like a really solid prospect. It's not as flashy as picking up an all-star but I really do love this trade for you guys.

For finally for us (the Spurs), like I said I really don't think this will ever happen and depends so much on how Ben feels about coming to play for us. But I do truly believe Pop can find a way to bring the best out in him. This would give us 3 of the best defensive players in the league at their position in DJ/Ben/Jakob, 3 players that can't exactly light it up from 3 is what makes DRob so vital. I just really don't believe we have a player with true star potential on the roster yet (I can see DJ making an allstar team but I don't see him as a perennial western allstar guard, he's incredible but isn't a scoring guard).

Anyway, this ended up longer than I meant it to - just found this fun, love to hear your thoughts I might be way off with this one.
