Spurs Get a Project Point Guard and Defense

SUCCESS

++Spurs: ++veteran leadership and grit with Adams and Rose and a PG who may actually develop well in the Spurs' program.

++Griz: ++They aren't winning anything in the next couple of years. By then, Adams and Rose will no longer be helpful to their team. They get one young player on a good contract, draft picks, and a solid locker-room veteran.

++Magic: ++Finally, move on from Fulz and get a solid backup in Graham and another role player. It's possible the Spurs need to throw in a couple of draft picks. Ultimately, this trade frees up the Magic's guard rotation; otherwise, it's not a flashy trade, but it does clear up some roster space.

At this point, this is not a splashy trade, just like the Spurs typically go for. It fills some significant needs for the Spurs. I would suggest the Spurs explore the possibility of getting Isaac from the Magic as well; it would be worth the try since his role has shrunk; he has an injury history and seems to be falling out of favor. He's a solid defender and might just thrive in SA. The other teams are making simple roster moves. Maybe the Spurs will toss in a couple of picks to make this happen, but unlike many suggested trades, this one actually looks like something that could get done that benefits every team involved.
