According to a report by The Athletic, the Jazz are amongst the teams who have expressed interest in John Collins.
Collins (25) fits the timeline of the team the Jazz are currently building. They have accumulated a plethora of picks for Gobert/Mitchell and can afford to send out some of those in exchange for Collins and for offloading Conley's contract.
The Spurs engage as facilitators to gain draft assets. As a bonus, they receive a high-character vet who meets a current positional need. Conley's personality and leadership (on and off the court) would benefit the young players' development. San Antonio is a great landing spot for Conley at this moment. Spurs get compensated for facilitating the deal, and for absorbing Conley's $$ contract. They still retain cap space to facilitate further trades this season (unlike trade scenarios involving Westbrook).
Hawks receive depth and versatility with 3 experienced, solid role players (McD, KBD and Olynyk) who help them immediately.
