KD's value is at an all time low after these playoffs and reportedly had issues with his role in the suns offence this season. As a suns fan Booker and maybe Allen are literally the only two players I wanna see back on this team next year so even selling low on KD and Beal seems like a good option if we can pick up some young talent.

Thunder have a million draft picks so 4 to them is not as expensive as it would seem for other teams and they could afford another blockbuster trade if they wanted. Also feels like with only two years left on KD's contract even if he isn't as great as he once was he can be a good second scoring option next to Shai and mentor some of the young guys on this team, so its relatively low risk especially considering that they now wont have to pay Giddey next year so cap wont really be an issue.

Definitely low player value return for the suns none of these guys will be the 30 odd ppg scorer that KD is but it does offer much more clarity to the offence of the suns while also adding guys that play good defence. Also the thunder have no reason to give up guys like JDub or Chet because this core was the 1 seed as a young team. Giddey might even be too high value but the suns desperately need someone with playmaking ability like him and I think if the thunder were to part ways with one of the bigger pieces of this core it would be him. Picks allow some flexibility to the suns to go out and get some depth players/make some picks down the line (only one I think is really any chance to be good is the clippers 2027).
