I actually don't think the Suns need to make a trade this season. The team should be in good shape once they have time to get healthy and build chemistry. The starting lineup of Booker, Allen, Gordon, Durant, and Nurkic is currently leading the league in Net Rating, and should improve further when Beal returns. One of Allen or Gordon becoming the 6th man may help our bench rotations as well.

Suns 2023-24 Roster:

• Goodwin - D.Lee - Watanabe - Bol - Metu

• Two-ways: Saben Lee and Udoka Azubuike

I believe this is how the Suns depth chart will shake out by the end of the season. Okogie's offense leaves something to be desired most nights, but his defense too necessary to forgo. Goodwin is another player that can put pressure on opposing ball-handlers, but is smaller and plays a much deeper position for the Suns as a pure guard. Damion Lee and Watanabe are excellent 3pt shooters than can get spot minutes over Okogie, KBD, or Little depending on who has the hottest hand on a given night, but the latter three have proven themselves more on the defensive end. Metu is fine as a third-string center behind Nurkic and Eubanks, because although he lacks the size and rebounding ability of the first two, he can stretch the floor and matches up against opposing small-ball lineups better. Bol Bol is the most expendable member of the roster, but is a fun treat for fans to watch in blowouts, and his size/wingspan is a nice utility option for set plays when there is minimal time left on the shot clock. Our two-ways, Saben Lee and Azubuike, are purely injury insurance but have shown flashes of potential.
