Am I crazy or does the Nurkic-Ayton rumors make 0 sense. Nurk hasn't been a top 15 center in like 5 years, and hasn't player 60 games in a season since 2019. I know Ayton has his flaws, but Vogel has spoken highly about him this offseason and obviously has some plans on how he wants to use him. I don't necessarily think the guy spreading these rumors is lying, but I really don't see the Suns moving Ayton for Nurkic + other role players and rolling Nurk out at starting center next year. He's a meh finisher (never shot above 60% as a CENTER) and hasn't been a good defender since the Trump administration. If a Dame trade happens today, I really don't see Ayton being included.
