Lakers grab a center who can be a long-term starter plus an additional asset.
Magic get an offensive initiator that could take pressure off of Paolo and Franz while setting them up.
Thoughts? Not enough for Reaves or just right?…

Am i the only one who doesnt think nurkic is bad? He still grades around the top of the league in rim protection and rebounding metrics. Yeah he’s nothing offensively but he can set a good screen and could really benefit from a change in scenery….

Saw Bleacher report post BI to the Clippers but they traded Mann and multiple other guys instead of Powell. I feel like this is pretty fair value.
Pelicans would likely flip Norman Powell instantly to another team but I'm not going to bother complicating it and adding that….

we all saw how dominant lebron still is this summer. The Lakers are (and have been) actively squandering his final years to the end of protecting their future. They’ve failed to make ANY roster moves this offseason to address their bevy of flaws from last season-instead choosing to blame Darvin Ham (not the problem) and hire a totally fresh head coach.
With this trade, the Lakers mortgage some future assets for 2 quality starters. The double big lineup is really in right now, and it’s not hard to see why. An AD WCJ frontcourt would be menacing idea for any team doctor to face.
AD returning to his roamer role defensively while still being able to maintain proper spacing on offense due to WCJ’s shooting ability would be a dream. Add in Sexton’s fantastic creation and playmaking chops he’s developed over the past couple years, and this team could have one of the scariest starting lineups in the NBA.
Please make a move Lakers.
Lmk your thoughts down below-kinda a Lakers centric post bu…

Clippers are in a super tought spot after losting PG. A bet on an undervalued star—sacrificing nothing of too much value—is the kind of gamble that they need to take. Lavine was fantastic his last healthy season, an offensive weapon capable of playing with or without the ball. He would make the clippers offensive far more dynamic, and although the Harden-Lavine backcourt is missing some defense having Kris Dunn, DJJ, and Mann behind them could really make up for that.
While the Bulls aren’t getting anything of real high value here (Powell could probably fetch a late first or something from a contender) they just need to move on from Lavine. Coby White and Ayo deserve to be the starting backcourt, and Lavine’s in the way of that. This jumpstarts their rebuild—and important step.

A draft-night trade IF D'lo picks up his player option. Not sure I would pick it up if I'm him, but I could see him wanting to "prove it" for a larger deal next offseason.

Both teams get what they need—Clips get younger and Knicks get better.
Thoughts? Is the value fair?…

I've seen reports saying the Lavine contract would require assets to move, and while it's probably an overpay, when he's healthy he's one of the most versatile offensive wings in the league. The Magic would really benefit from his production, and could get him for a super bargain. Let me know your thoughts down below!…

Getting Paul George for $45 million or BI for $35 mil would be a big mistake imo. Getting a lower tier star like Kuzma and getting legit role players to fill put the roster would be the much smarter route in my opinion. Look at this year’s conference finalists—all teams with 2 offensive centers with dynamic role players around them.
What do yall think?…

As a hawks fan I’m pretty sure I’d do this. Love Sarr, but Markkanen totally reshapes our team. A best-case outcome would be Sarr becoming Markkanen’s level of player. Do the Jazz do this though?…
