I wasn’t surprised that they took Mara at #12 with Yaxel and Morez gone. The grades from the “experts” all seemed to like the pick. His shuttle concerns me, but Naz Reed, Quetta, Koa Pete, Maluach, Clingan, Garza, and Claxton all had worse shuttle times. May not be as bad as I thought. I thought Ament might have been the pick.

Trading up for Stirtz: I hated this move, but it looks like we kept #37. I wanted Carr, Graves, Cenac, Reed, Zuby. I thought Carr was a better fit.

Grade for me: B. I trust Presti and hope he proves me wrong.

Stirtz likely seals the deal for Joe being moved. I thought we might try to trade back up for Cenac, but Boston just took him.Hopefully we can get Karaban (gone), Baba Miller, Jefferson (gone) or Martinelli at #37. Veesaar would be great value. I don’t know that he can play a stretch 4.

I don’t think we addressed our biggest issue of wing height. The Spurs added Quaintance and Reed. Their defense is going to be crazy good.
