OKC showed a lack of two major things in tonight's loss to the Spurs, things many have seen for awhile, but that was reliable 3pt shooting and toughness. OKC brings in both in trading for Cam Spencer from a 3rd string PG role on a very cheap deal, with a ton of grit, and showed early flashes of being a 3pt specialist. The Grizzlies also take in Moody's $ to the JJJ TPE, which allows OKC to secure the #11 pick for #17/Dort. At #11 OKC draft's Yaxel Lendeborg, and #12 Morez Johnson Jr, both of which show a ton of potential for gritty scrappers with size at 6'10" 240-250lbs and 7'3" wingspans. OKC also makes a couple contract moves, declining and offering IHart 4/$99.5m, offering Cason Wallace 5/$93.75m, and declining Kenrich and offering him league min salary. This puts OKC at $221m salary, just below the 2nd Apron.
PG: SGA, Ajay, Spencer
SG: Wallace, McCain, Joe

PF: Chet, Yaxel, Morez

For the Grizzlies, Cam Spencer is an amazing find for a late 2nd round player, however at 26 vs 20, Topic just presents far more long-term upside for the Grizzlies. That plus a late first next year for a salary dump should be an easy yes.
For the Warriors, you get a proven SG defensive ace next to Steph and can put out a starting lineup of Curry/Dort/Butler/Green/Porzingis if/when Butler/Porzingis are healthy, and are still able to take a swing at #17.
The Pistons get a solid 6th man type scorer that just doesn't have a rotation spot in OKC for 2 2nds. This move easily fits under their cap space with enough room to keep Duren's QO, and afterwards the Pistons still have access to the full MLE to give Tobias Harris.
