ATL: I think the Trae Young trade rumors are silly, they finally have a team that is only missing one piece, a good modern rim protector and rollman for Trae to feed. A player like Claxton fits the need really well while being on a nicely descending contract. Dyson Daniels is the perfect defensive minded partner for Trae, and then you surround him with 6'9" wings in Risacher/Johnson. With some development (primarily Daniels/Risacher's 3pt shots), it's the best archetype of team to build around Trae, and after a year or two they'd be a really solid playoff contender in the East if Daniels/Johnson/Risacher can grow together. They already have nice bench depth in Okongwu/Bogdan/Hunter.

BKN: Claxton doesn't appear to be in the Nets future plans of their rebuild. They can clear some cap room off the books while bringing in a young talent in Dieng that they can give time to develop, a protected Kings 1st, and future Hawks 2nd. **I'm not sure on the value of Claxton to be honest. Would Atlanta need to send another 1st?

OKC: The Thunder cut ties with Dieng who hasn't developed as they had hoped, for a PF/C that can be a decent backup big. If they can't resign him this offseason cheap, they just need to draft a player to fill that role as backup big.
