This trade solves two problems - 1) The PHI/Hardin beef 2)MN needs to unload KAT’S onerous contract to avoid future lux tax.

 Hardin for Conley and SloMo is probably the best match, money-wise and talent-wise, PHI can expect for a forced trade and all parties have one year remaining on their contracts.

 MN gets good value for KAT - Collins will fill the PF spot on the starting unit, Olynyk on the second unit replacing SloMo.

 Jazz gets a nice three man rotation - KAT/Markainen/Kessler (2 Allstars and and an All-rookie) - for the 4/5 spot, and they’re in a better place financially to handle KAT’s Supermax.
