NBL WEEK 10 REVIEW

I'M gonna start doing these because WE NEED MORE AUSSIE SPORT ON FANSPO.

36ers 97-85 Illawara Hawks

Bryce Cotton is the MVP.

This dude is playing like prime James Harden. 31 points and a career high 13 assists while EXPERIENCING NAUSEA. This guy is just different. He is averaging 27 points and 6 assists (not quite Harden numbers) and is most likely going to win his sixth NBL MVP award.

Brisbane Bullets 76-103 SE Melbourne Phoenix

Was Sobey overhyped?

He played at an MVP level against the JackJumpers, Bullets and Kings but didn't have that effect against the other teams he has played in his last 10 games, with 4 of those games having 17 points or less. I just don't think you can win MVP with a 21ppg.

Illawarra Hawks 102-105 Melbourne United

What happened to Illawarra?

Illawarra Hawks lost their 3rd straight game to Melbourne united, who got revenge for the 2025 grand finale. I don't understand how they sign an NBA veteran in JaVale McGee and somehow get worse and sit 2nd last after winning the championship. They have been without Froling but shouldn't Harvey and McGee be enough?

Perth Wildcats 101-95 Jackjumpers

Wildcats claim their 4th straight W

The Perth Wildcats have claimed their 4th straight victory against the Jackjumpers, led by a 30-point performance from Kristian Doolittle.

Taipans 96-102 NZ Breakers

Could Jack McVeigh be a sneaky MVP pick?

Jack McVeigh at his second 35+ point performance despite the Taipans losing their 4th game in a row and currently sitting dead last in the standings. If Jack McVeigh keeps up this form, he could take the MVP away from Bryce, but I only think this will happen is if Bryce Cotton gets injured.

Jackjumpers 104-81 Sydney Kings

Jackjumpers bounce back.

The Jackjumpers bounce back after the loss to Perth, led by a 22-point performance from Bryce Hamilton.

Melbourne United 98-87 Perth Wildcats

Lual-Acuil Jr returns to John Cain Arena.

Lual Acuil-Jr returned to John Cain Arena to play his former team, Melbourne United and had a solid 19 points. But he and the Wildcats couldn't beat Melbourne, led by a 24-point performance from Milton Doyle.

MVP of the week: Kristian Doolittle
