So UFC Freedom 250 was wild. Topuria losing, Pereria losing. So with all of the chaos let's match make every fighter after this event.
Diego Lopes: Jean Silva II
So this one was tough. The only other would be Aljamain Sterling but as this fight wouuld be a title eliminator, I think Aljo deserves his title shot regardless than having to go through Diego Lopes. This would be a perfect event for a Brazil fight night as the main event (as I think Oliveira is PPV material as BMF title holder).
Steve Garcia: Kevin Vallejos
This was also tough, as hypothetically he could be fighting up if he moves down in the rankings. But with Garcia coming off a loss and Vallejos rising in the rankings, I think this would be a good fight.
Bo Nickal: Roman Dolidze
I feel that this is the perfect fight for Nickal. Dolidze is coming off of a loss and Nickal is back on a winning streak, I feel this is a good fight to make.
Kyle Daukas: Cam Rowston
Because these are both unranked fighters, I don't really have an opinion. Daukas is coming off of a loss and Rowston is a young, 3-0 prospect so by the stats this is a good fight to make. Could be on an Australia FN event.
Mauricio Ruffy: Loser of BSD/Paddy Pimblett
Ruffy just fought down and won, so I think a step up is right for him. The loser of this fight would be right for him as Hooker/Gamrot are to easy for Ruffy and I think he would breeze through him. This fight would be great aswell, if Ruffy wins, he goes into title contention, if he loses, it lets BSD/Paddy find their footing again. This could headline a France/England FN event.
Michael Chandler: Retirement
You're 40 years old coming off of FOUR STRAIGHT LOSSES. Just retire dude.
Josh Hokit: Waldo Cortes-Acosta
So there are many options here. We could go Alex Pereria, we could go with Sergei Pavlovich, but I think Cortes-Acosta is the right move that could throw him into title contention with 1 more win.
Derrick Lewis: Retirement
Same as Chandler. He is coming off back-to-back knockout losses at the age of 41. Bye bye Lewis, you served us well.
Sean O'Malley: Winner of Yan/Merab II.
Sean O'Malley V Aiemann Zahabi was a title eliminator. Merab is getting the rematch against Yan ofc but this was the eliminator for the fight after.
Aiemann Zahabi: Payton Talbott
Zahabi was slimed out by O'Malley and needs a step down. With Talbott on the rise, I think this fight would be a good test for Talbott as it could bolt him into the title picture with a win.
Ciryl Gane: Tom Aspinall
Self explanitory here. Interim Champ fights Undisupted Champ.
Alex Pereria: Paulo Costa
Look, Pereria just got finished and Costa is on some hype after his KO of Azamat. Costa is up there in title eiminator fights so why not give him Pereria? Good way for Pereria to find his footing again.
Justin Gaethje: Arman Tsarukyan
Clear No.1 contender in Arman has to fight the champ at some point. Book this fight ASAP.
Ilia Topuria: Winner of BSD/Paddy
So Ilia just got finished by Justin and there aren't many fights to make. Arman deserves the title shot, Holloway is occupied with McGregor, and Oliveira is occupied with the BMF. We're not gonna kick Ilia out of the top 5 so I think a top 5 contender is a good way for Ilia to get back on his feet.
Thoughts?
