I am not back. I just needed to clear up some things regarding this drama unfolding. First off, the Discord people do care about this site. If we didn’t care about it, we wouldn’t be trying to put a stop to all the immature shenanigans going on. That is where I feel the current Fanspo users and Discord have common ground in the site: We just want what’s best for it, we just have different viewpoints. However, many of the current Fanspo users have begun to devolve into as I previously mentioned, immature things. To start, Hali4MVP made a post that was deeply offensive to many in the Discord, and then the current Fanspo attacked the Discord users for calling him out. Also, Fijian(London) was somehow made a mod. Fijian does not have the character to be a mod. And when Invincible removed him, the Fanspo side once again got pissed, when in reality, Fijian does not have the character to be a mod. Then, the most recent issues have stemmed from “theonlyeducated” and “femiknowsball” creating “political parties” and falsely claiming that “they are the elected owners of Fanspo.” To start, this is misleading. And to top it off, Fanspo was created to discuss SPORTS, NOT POLITICS. This has been the Discord’s position for so long. However, with the Hali4MVP post and Fijian’s posts glorifying Nazis and now this, it’s becoming more political, which is NOT Fanspo’s purpose. Lastly, when Invincible was going to make a new current mod, CoreyNaylor, for no reason at all, insulted Invincible and the Discord people, insinuating that we don’t care about this site, which is a LIE. To top it off, CoreyNaylor refused to apologize and acted like a selfish egomaniac, and then Kawntent slammed Invincible for calling CoreyNaylor out, and to top it off, attacked the character of others, such as me, Mohid, and 49ersFOREVER, not to mention the attacks on the character of others, like Chees and GSauce, made by current Fanspo users. To make such blatant and untrue attacks on our character is not ok. We want what’s best for the site. I don’t necessarily agree with every action Invincible’s taken, but overall, in this situation, CoreyNaylor was clearly in the wrong and is only making the situation worse by being an egomaniac, straight up hurling insults at people instead of working together. So to sum it all up, is Discord people want what’s best for Fanspo, which is why we are taking the actions that we took. Fanspo was designed as a place to talk SPORTS. It was not created as a hub to discuss controversial political issues and immature shenanigans. And mods should have actual character, which Fijian doesn’t have. So that is why us Discord people took the actions we took. We want what’s best for Fanspo, but we won’t tolerate blatant attacks on our character, immature political shenanigans, and people who have no business being mods being made mods.
