The sensation of last season goes to the reigning champs. His explosiveness and unpredictability will fit like a glove in a roster that had great systems and off-ball playing, but they depended on an aging Fournier when it mattered the most.
💈 Jonas Valanciunas to Zalgiris from Denver Nuggets:
The cherry on top of a great offseason in Kaunas. With half of Europe wanting him, they managed to bring this inside-the-paint monster home. Altough they will have trouble defensively, it's a luxury for a small team like them to have this huge player.
💣 TJ Shorts to Valencia from Panathinaikos:
After a standout season with Paris (3rd in the race for the MVP) he signed with a powerhouse like PAO, but coach Ataman didn't trust him and he didn't have a lot of usage. Now in Valencia, he will have the keys and will hopefully be that player all the Euroleague fans fell in love 2 years ago.
🗣 Perdro MartÃnez to Real Madrid from Valencia Basket.
Last year's coach of the year signs for a true contender after 40 years of coaching. As a Real Madrid fan I just had to put this as the first. The doubts about how he is going to adapt are nonsense, because he is the coach we needed, because he is very very very versatile and because the players will be the ones that adapt to whatever he plans.
