🇬🇧 Harry Kane 73 GOALS. Yeah… I’m not even gonna explain. Historic season. Better than basically everyone for me.
🇪🇸 Lamine Yamal Solid season, crazy talent and I wouldn’t even be surprised if he wins it. World Cup wasn’t amazing tho, so I can’t put him #1.
🇬🇪 Kvaratskhelia He’s literally this year’s Raphinha. Best itw but somehow not talked about enough. If it was 100% up to me, he wins it. Only thing is… 8 league goals.
🇫🇷 Michael Olise Very similar season to Yamal imo. But Yamal has the World Cup win, while Olise doesn’t. That matters for me.
🇦🇷 Lionel Messi Idc what anyone says, I personally think he was the best player of the most important tournament. His numbers are still crazy too, even if it was in a weaker league.
🇫🇷 Ousmane Dembélé Good season, decent World Cup. And imo he had a better season than Mbappé.
🇳🇴 Erling Haaland I’ve got him over Mbappé. Better season for me + better World Cup.
🇫🇷 Kylian Mbappé The goalscoring numbers are actually insane, but the rest matters too. Real Madrid had better La Liga numbers when he wasn’t playing, and his defensive contribution was one of the worst. That drops him for me.
🇪🇸 Rodri One of the most important players in the tournament for me. His defensive impact and importance in the big games are why he’s here.
🇪🇸 Pau Cubarsí Same reason as Rodri. Massive in the biggest games and defensively super important. Only ONE goal conceded in the whole tournament btw.
