Portugal won the possesion game 75%-25% and were genuinely the worse team for most of the game, obviously if you look at the stats the DRC had more shots, shots on target and Xg but that doesn't show you the ammount of opportunities they fumbled on the counter attack.

And major props to the DRC, they may not have the most talented squad but they were extremely well-sound defensively and overall just an incredibly well-coached team, Sébastien Desabre masterclass.
