I will be doing a draft preview for every team before the draft hopefully in order of the picks.

The no 1 overall pick: everyone thinks aj dybantsa is the obvious choice or the trade back and I still think that even if they don’t trade back ah is great and all but I would take Darryn Peterson.

Darryn Peterson: I love this dude and I believe he has the most talent in the draft as he was scoring 20 points in a half against top teams in the countries and then would cramp up because of cream he was taking. I think you take the risk on him with all his talent. When him and aj are going against each other he always wins. I also think Darryn is a better fit because he is more of a guard and can still play next to Trae imo and you can have Kyshawn in the starting lineup in a natural position not at the 2 and you still have wing depth with whitmore Riley coulibaly and Tre. They can also trade back for more young depth in this scenario they take him.

Aj dybantsa: I honestly am not very interested in him but if you what just the pure best player that isn’t a risk at all and is just a basically sure thing and don’t worry about team fit he is the guy. I just think Darryn has the better fit.

Cam boozer. He is a great sure thing that can play make and shoot three pass score na she can still develop a few shots or definitely has his shots already. I just don’t think he fits next to ad and Sarr and I don’t think this team is in the fit to take a guy that is already great and a sure thing but can’t play. Only if they get like Jimmy or kd for ad then maybe they take him.

Trade back: you trade back to the jazz for young depth with collier filip and Cody Williams then if the grizz think they need to go get boozer you trade back more to get gg wells and maybe Spencer while you still get you’re target

Verdict: Darryn had the most talent and fits the best but there is a risk and as a team trying to strike gold that already has two stars and another young role player becoming star trying to find another one can be a risk worth taking. If you can trade back that would be amazing but if you don’t get what you want to just take Darryn imo.
